About Us

Our story started in 2012 with a simple idea: Creating the thinnest leather wallet out there. As with most simple ideas, making it reality proved to be a long and interesting journey. Six prototypes and half a year later we finally held the thinnest leather billfold in our hands; the DUN wallet was born! DUN means ‘thin’ in Dutch and with the success on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter our brand was official. More than 30.000 DUN wallets landed in pockets all over the world ever since and we have only just begun.

Minimalist perfection

We view the DUN wallet as a continuous design project that we have iterated and perfected during its decade-long lifespan: The calf leather was upgraded twice, the card slots were narrowed, the stainless steel clip IP plated and the stitching minimized. Ultimately we aim to create products that look and work beautifully and last long enough to be called classic.
